Employer Description Gladstones Solicitors is a fast paced and friendly law firm who already have apprentices in the business. You will be mentored, given guidance and support throughout your apprenticeship. Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about software development. You will provide support to the Development Manager in the ongoing support and development of the Proclaim case management system, implementing new and efficient legal workflows and new technologies to enable the business to be the best in the market. Duties/ Responsibilities - Working directly with the development manager to add functionality to existing systems - Producing code - Testing and debugging the Proclaim Case Management System - Providing essential maintenance to current systems and websites - User software support and troubleshooting - Work with other members of the company to help improve workflow and processes - Documenting development work - Ensuring the smooth running of the Proclaim workflows - Data management - With support from the development manager for coding, testing, debugging, documenting and assisting in the administration of the Proclaim case management system Desired Qualities - Good organizational skills - Willing to learn and progress - Strong work ethic - High level of attention to detail - Responsible Desired Qualifications: 6 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C including Maths plus GCSE English (or equivalent) at grade D or above Other Information Working week - 9.00am-5.15pm with 1-hour lunch break Benefits Great starting salary with the opportunity to progress in the company on successful completion of your apprenticeship Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
