1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Legal Sector Marcus Donald are currently recruiting for an outgoing and personable 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to work closely with a team of 12 other Support Engineers, Developers and IT Trainers. This role is customer facing, meaning the individual will have excellent communication skills. This role is a hands-on role providing 1st / 2nd line support of computers, applications and telephone systems to staff throughout the organisation and across all offices. It includes helping users via phone, email and face-to-face with a wide range of issues. The role involves responding to issues raised via the firm`s help desk system as well as dealing with telephone calls and face-to-face requests. It will involve working in other of the Firm`s offices from time to time. Responsibilities: - Work within a team environment and act as the initial point of contact for helpdesk support. - Providing remote and on-site support to clients. - Support a user base of around 220 spread over various locations in the UK - Travel to the other offices is in rotation at least once per week or when the need arises. Skillsets needed: - MS Office, Windows 7 - 10 - Windows Server 2010 - 1016 admin - Echange 2010 - 2016. - Citrix - Audio/video conference room admin - Active Directory - SCCM - Cisco switching - VMWare admin Advantageous: - AppSense - XenApp / XenDesktop Requirements: - At least 2 years` experience in a law firm or professional services background. - Good analytical troubleshooting skills. - Helpdesk ticket assigning, 1st hit resolution and desktop environments. - Ability to communicate in a professional and personable manner with clients.
