As a Cyber Defence Security Consultant you will be responsible for helping your clients to reduce their cyber security risk exposure and enhance their information security posture. You will develop a cyber security strategy with your clients, in the context of evolving cyber security threats. The ideal Cyber Security candidate will be acting at a strategic level within a global consulting and technology organisation, developing business cases, designing and delivering appropriate information security controls. Cyber Defence Security Consultant responsibilities: ·Develop and deliver information security capability in support of business operations. ·Understand enterprise architecture to identify appropriate security controls and mitigate risks. ·Develop an evolutionary approach to the implementation of security capability to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats. ·Through understanding of current and emerging cyber security threats. ·Expert knowledge of existing and new information security technologies. ·Ability to develop cyber security operations, including incident response capabilities. Cyber Defence Security Consultant qualities: As an ideal Cyber Defence Security Consultant candidate you will demonstrate: ·The ability to write clear, coherent and precise reports on complex technical issues. ·Effectively communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. ·Essential relevant degree or equivalent working experience. ·Must have professional certification such as CISM, GCED or CISSP.
