Lead Business Analyst, eCommerce - London

GBP 65 to GBP 85k + benefits, bonus and shares

They are looking for high level Agile Lead Business Analyst who specializes in either Consulting/Service Design and/or Technology Delivery.

Since 1993 they have leveraged its core engineering expertise to become a leading global product development and digital platform engineering services company.

The Lead BA must be able to:

Gain the trust of senior client stakeholders, and be able to lead and advise on how transformational change can deliver business outcomes.
Understand the client`s business drivers and drive a compelling Product Strategy and Roadmap.
Shape business ideas and turn them into Product requirements, perhaps with previous experience in a Product Owner role.
Understand the latest technology trends and any potential impacts on business strategy.

They must have experience of delivering business outcomes in one or more of the following areas:

eCommerce platforms and processes
Content Management strategy and operations
Use of data and analytics to generate Customer insights
Development and optimisation of the user experience
Mobile platforms and development

And possess excellent core business analysis skills, potentially including capabilities and techniques such as:

Business cases and benefits tracking
Customer value chain analysis
Customer journey mapping
Design thinking
Specification of Business, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
Modelling Business Processes

Project locations may be European-wide, and candidates may need to travel on a weekly basis for a sustained period of time. Travel to nearshore development locations will also be expected.

Experience of working in an Agile environment is a must, and experience of different development approaches such as Waterfall, Scrum and Kanban would be an advantage. The Lead BA must be able to influence and adapt the development approach to fit the particular project scenario.

Experience if working within an offshore delivery model is a must. Be able to operate at all stages of the Product Lifecycle - be able to dive into the detail if necessary.

Experience of leading teams of Business Analysts on projects would be an advantage. We would also look for the successful candidates to participate in Capability Development, both in the coaching and mentoring of more junior Business Analysts or the development of Service Offers and reusable collateral.
