The Opportunity:

This varied and exciting role us at the visible forefront of the business where you will be helping the team run internal, external & supplier facing events on behalf of Product leadership team. You will be ensuring high standards for events are maintained to enhance brand reputation. Oversee reviews of event to ensure learnings are applied to future activity.

Working in a highly professional team alongside the food academy team of product developers, suppliers, inhouse catering teams and other event managers, you will be focussed on delivering high quality targeted events.

You’ll need to be flexible with your working hours as some events and will overnight stays. The office location is also likely to change though Hertfordshire based so your own transport is essential.

What you will be involved with:

·Work collaboratively with product developers to ensure new own label products are showcased across various events to promote the brand

·Manage all event logistics and timescales through liaising with suppliers to arrange product samples and oversee deliveries also ensuring food safety obligations and food hygiene regulations are adhered to

·Coordinating with venue management, caterers and contractors, assist with all pre-event preparation and on the day provide support as required by Event Manager

·Assisting with preparation of food for events and the styling of food in order to promote the brand, advising on the display and quantity of product samples

·Develop and co-ordinate event plans, monitoring their implementation, provide advice and expertise by being an advocate for the Brand and sharing product stories with internal and external stakeholders

·Work with the appropriate teams, suppliers and organisations to coordinate and manage the delivery of events you will follow the Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence

You will need to have:

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence and professionalism to hold relationships at varying levels plus great organising and planning skills

·Excellent judgement and decision making with high standards and attention to detail

·Good administrative skills - ability to work quickly and accurately with regular use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

·Previous event management experience preferred but not essential
