Are you looking for a role where you will gain on the job experience within a successful housing department whilst studying? You will get the opportunity to work closely with the business and learn all aspects of housing administration within our award winning Company. Reporting to the Senior Housing Assistant, you will provide an effective, proactive and professional service and will be trained up and qualify in a Business and Administration NVQ Level 3 qualification. A college assessor will support you in the work place to achieve your qualification. To excel in this role you will be passionate and enthusiastic, ideally with A-levels or a BTEC qualification already. Duties/ Responsibilities This L3 Business Admin apprenticeship will blend on-the-job experience and in-company training with periodic 2-day block-release study at a QA training centre. Working as a part of a busy housing team, to carry out all relevant and necessary administration processes efficiently and effectively to our customers, whilst providing outstanding customer service. DUTIES - To undertake Data Entry into our Housing Management system in order to ensure tenancy and resident details are up to date - To complete Mutual Exchanges in a timely manner in line with the deadlines and Aldwyck's processes and procedures - Carry out Login/out each day for the officers and managers in line with the lone worker policy - To work closely with the Housing Services Officers to ensure that Inspections are carried out as required - To use our Contact Manager process to allocate incoming post and other documents as required in line with the duty rota - To complete the data input of sign ups of new tenancies within 1 working day - To follow electronic process to complete court processes for Gas Injunctions, Court applications and Warrants in line with defined deadlines - To provide Administrative Support to Housing Services Officers and Area Managers . Including, but not limited to: - Undertaking mail merges as directed using Microsoft Word - Dealing with some customer enquiries - Raising Purchase Orders - Processing of Invoices - To provide Administrative Support to the Rent Services team to help with the administration of Universal Credit claims The above does not constitute an exhaustive list of duties. The post holder may be required to perform any reasonable ad hoc tasks commensurate with the level of responsibility at the request of the Senior Housing Assistant. Desired Qualities Essential qualities are: - Experience of administrative work - Ability to accurately record and input data from and into various it systems - Excellent numeracy skills - Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work - Good interpersonal skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A good general level of education - Ability to be flexible and work easily with others, a team player - Ability to follow instruction and work within policy and procedural guidelines - Willingness to accept change and work with new initiatives - Experience of data inputting would be desirable Desired Qualifications: 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other Information Working week - 35 hours a week Benefits Benefits associated with this role include: above minimum wage apprentice salary, all expenses paid whilst attending training centre to qualify in a fully funded NVQ Level 3 Business Admin qualification, company contributory pension, 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays, onsite dining facilities, free parking and access to high street savings and much more!
