My client is looking for an Immediate start Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st line support to users in their Hammersmith offices. This will be supporting 2 days a week initially for 4 weeks with a view to extend and increase number of working days per week

  • To provide first and some second line IT support to the customer's international businesses
  • Ensure all problems and requests are recorded, monitored and resolved in a timely efficient manner
  • Take ownership of incidents
  • Ability to translate technical information into a language the customer understand
  • The Service Desk is made up mainly of contractors and they need to replace one of them.
  • Successful applicant will be required to be versatile, prepared to work in a challenging work environment and open to new challenges

Proven track record of working in an IT support environment. PC hardware, Software and operating systems Windows 7, Office 365, Active Directory
  • Answering telephone calls & e-mails, logging the Incident using a service management system and providing the customer with a unique reference number and prognosis
  • Resolving the Incident, where possible, using predefined scripts, remote control software and the Knowledge Base to the customer's complete satisfaction.
  • Assigning the Incident to a 2nd/3rd Line Support Team when unable to resolve the Incident, providing additional information as required and tracking progress of the Incident and keeping the
  • Knowledge and support of Active Directory and Exchange for Password resets, profile changes
  • MS Office, In particular possessing excellent Outlook knowledge for Archiving/mailbox quota issues and
    Backing up PSTs
