3rd Line Support Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000

I am currently working with a well established company based in Borehamwood. They are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join the expansion of there ever-growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, eager Support Engineer/Projects Engineer looking for their next step. The role is to deliver and support critical project deployments by working with the latest MS technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server). You will be part of a Professional Services team supporting/installing a range of technical systems including: Windows Server 2016, SQL Server 2016, network equipment (Cisco, Dell and HP), Active Directory and GPOs. You will be mainly providing support remotely/over the phone, although sometimes face-to-face client meetings may be necessary.

Flexibility around working hours to ensure delivery of projects will be of great advantage for the role and naturally expected from time to time. The shift times are as follows: 8-6, 8-4:30, 9-5:30, 9:30-6

Ideal applicants will have 2-3 years' experience and demonstrate support and project delivery knowledge to a 3rd line level of the following technologies:
- Office 365
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016
- SQL Server including clusters/AlwaysOn
- Active Directory including clusters and GPOs
- System Center Configuration Manager
- Basic Windows based networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc
- Basic routing, switching & firewall rules
- ITIL/Prince2 knowledge
