Frazer John Recruitment, Digital & Marketing practice is looking for an interim Brand Manager for our client based in Greater Manchester.

The company are a well known FMCG business who continue to go from strength to strength.

Purpose: To market new and existing brands delivering all aspects of the marketing mix and to provide assistance to the Marketing and Sales Team in the delivery of projects both domestically and internationally.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete marketing mix of TV, online, print, retail promotions & PR
  • To liaise with Licensing companies to maximise brand development and sell through
  • Development of brand presentations for Domestic and International customers
  • Overseeing control of product imagery for packaging, catalogue and online
  • Writing product copy text for retail catalogues and online web pages
  • Manage the setup, implementation and maintenance of company showroom
  • To attend and present products at customer previews and industry events
  • Management of TV commercials from pre-production through to post-production
  • Development of POS, working alongside the Marketing and Product Coordinator
  • Briefing and creation of retail catalogue pages, consumer and trade adverts
  • Liaising with PR agency; supervising PR campaigns, events and daily press activities
  • Liaise with external agencies including packaging and 3rd party suppliers
  • Creation of sales reports and brand updates for internal and external agencies
  • Work alongside NPD and QA on product design and packaging development
  • Assist the Marketing Manager & NPD with market research & competitor analysis
  • Work in conjunction with UK sales team, Hong Kong and internal design studios
  • To support the Marketing Manager and International Sales Team with ad hoc requests (samples, presentations, demonstrations, communication on project status and to attend meetings when requested)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 year Marketing or Industry experience
  • Degree in Business/Marketing
  • Knowledge of software packages and functions, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Flexible and enthusiastic, willing to adapt to different circumstances
  • Organised, confident and able to work well under pressure
  • Good presentation skills & creative flair

  • Experience within the FMCG industry
  • Product Management experience
  • Driving Licence
