Job Role

To lead the Technical Support Team, to set the example of how a professional 2nd line support team should operate.To motivate members of the Technical Support Team to deliver the best service possible and to build their interest in technology and how technology enables the business to function efficiently and effectively.To develop members of the Technical Support Team in all areas including, but not limited to, customer service skills, technical skills, the value and benefit of documentation and standard, repeatable processes and the sharing of knowledge in a structured way.To provide technical and customer service advice, guidance and coaching to the Technical Support team.To contribute to projects, both in terms of estimating and planning and of the completion of specific technical actions and to coordinate actions allocated to the Technical Support team in conjunction with the appointed Project Manager.Skills

The ideal candidate will come from a legal firm background with experience of managing a helpdesk/2nd Line support team, as well as providing infrastructure or projects support.

You will have expert knowledge of; Office 2010/16, Windows 7/10, Mobile Devices (iPhone/Blackberry), Desktop Management solutions (AD, GPO, RES, OCT) and experience with legal applications, such as; Bighand, InterAction, Worksite/Filesite, InTapp and Aderant.
