Finance Analyst Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire Salary: Up to £22,000 negotiable for the right candidate Contract: 6 months initially, with the likelihood of extension Return on Investment (ROI) LTD is the market-leading sales support agency within the automotive industry. ROI is proud of its long-term partnerships with some of the world's most recognisable brands including (but not limited to) Honda, Nissan, PSA Group, BMW, Volvo, VWG and Jaguar Land Rover. The company employs over 220 people from 5 offices (Milton Keynes, Nantwich, Gaydon, Slough and Gothenburg) The Gaydon office employs a team of c.30 people employed in a range of duties supporting the Jaguar Land Rover Fleet and Business team. The overall objective of the ROI team within JLR is to increase the sales of Jaguar and Land Rover products (JLR), look after existing customers and manage the administration of the sales process. The Finance Analyst is responsible for the payment, reconciliation and analysis of payments made to JLR branded dealerships around the country. The role is initially offered on a 6 month, fixed-term contract with strong likelihood of extension. This role will support the JLR Finance team through the following activities: - - Review/resolution of incentives payments - Weekly reporting on incentives payments, query resolution - Processing of sales amendments and de-fleeting of vehicles - Generation and processing of weekly payment runs - Monthly account reconciliations - Preparation of cash forecast - Creation of month end incentives accruals This is an important role requiring a combination of administering planned tasks in a timely manner, and providing an enhanced service by creating reports, analysing data and producing ad-hoc information for senior management within JLR. We are looking for a candidate with excellent attention to detail, good analysis skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a finance function, preferably with a focus on analysis of information, as well as completing tasks. He / she will be process driven and experienced in using: - Excel - Microsoft Access - SAP - Financials software e.g. Sage The key areas of experience you should be able to demonstrate, or show knowledge of include: - Accruals - Ability to extract data and formulate reports - Develop key metrics and dashboards for senior management - Month end reconciliation - Investigations / analysis of trends etc. It will help your application if you have had any formal training in finance (e.g. ACCA / CIMA).
