NHS BLOOD AND TRANSPLANT

Digital Analyst

Band 7 - £31,696 - £41,787

Location: Tooting

Ref: 918-CM2072

When you join NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), you can expect a progressive environment – one in which every member of the team plays a crucial role in saving and improving lives. From our skilled nurses and dedicated researchers, to the lab technicians and marketing teams, we all work together to produce incredible results – and as the only organisation in the UK to source blood products, tissue and organs for use in transfusions and transplants, that work has never been more important.

Based in Tooting (in London) in the Customer Marketing team, you will be at the heart of the way in which we communicate across our digital channels. Ensuring the user experience is consistently high by implementing rigorous multivariate testing, you will analyse the results and make recommendations to ensure the customers are engaging with our messages. Managing regular requests for data from across the team and providing analytics training sessions in an understandable way, you will be a key part of building effective digital campaigns, providing expertise on areas such as touch points and landing pages. Crucially, you will also develop and analyse benchmarks and KPI’s to measure ROI efficiency and identify future opportunities to engage with the donors – and those who are considering donating.

As you will need to occasionally work irregular hours and stay away from home when visiting collection teams around the country, you will need to be a flexible team player and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. With great verbal and written communication skills, you will have the confidence to motivate others and find solutions to problems as they arise. Coming from a background in which you analysed complex sources of information and translated it into digestible advice, you will have a good understanding of resource and project management. If you were involved in pilots, trials or validations and have experience of implementing change for the better, that would be ideal.

Enjoying a generous package that includes the highly desirable NHS Pension Scheme, you will receive 27 days of annual leave, plus a further 8 bank holidays. With access to our ‘Shine’ learning and development strategy, you will benefit from a comprehensive induction course, plus ongoing skills-related courses so that your industry knowledge will always be exemplary, and your career will continue to progress and flourish. You may also apply for funding to pursue personal development activities – plus you’ll have plenty of mentorship along the way. NHSBT is a special place in which to shape your career, so get in touch today, and let’s talk about where your career could take you next.

Closing date: 25 October 2017.
