Leading academic and educational publishing company requires a highly experienced PROGRAM MANAGER (Programme Manager) with experience of GLOBAL FINANCIAL ERP SYSTEMS selection and implementation and background and qualifications/certifications in ACCOUNTANCY / TAX / FINANCE to manage the whole RFP process for identification, selection, costing, planning and then delivery of a new globalized ERP Finance System. The Program Manager must have change management skills to transition disparate global systems onto the new selected financial ERP platform as part of the implementation. The Program Manager must have financial (accountancy) skills - stakeholders are global finance and must be able to liaise and work with global tax and compliance consultants/analysts. The Program Manager must be able to travel extensively and carry Senior Executive negotiation and influencing skills. The Program Manager will own the overarching program schedule and ensure successful delivery, coordinating across streams and departments to ensure scope is managed and deliverables are met. The Program Manager will report to the Head of Program Management and will serve the Program Board, responsible for escalating risks, scope or proposed plan changes. Essential Job Functions, Skills & Responsibilities: - Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the Program - Work with the Program stream leads to validate Program scope and KPI's - Develop and manage detailed overarching Program Plan, milestone schedule, project estimates and resource allocation plans. - Mange day to day operation aspects of the Program - Manage Program Risks and Issues and maintain relevant records for review with wider Program and department teams, escalating to Program Board where appropriate - Conduct Program status meetings to ensure accurate, timely and efficient resolution of Program Issues - Manage and deliver communications to stakeholders to ensure all relevant groups are kept up to date of Program status, Risks and deliverables - Provide internal teams with written status updates, meeting minutes and other relevant project communications - Hold all teams to committed deadlines - Lead Program Management process with external vendor and align Program plan with the external vendor. - Professional qualifications in Project and Program Management as well as demonstrate application of the methodologies - Experience delivery large scale financial Programs - Excellent organization skills - Excellent communication skills - The application of appropriate Program Management methodology - Team work and customer focused mentality with the ability to multi-task - Ability to work well with large stakeholder boards both internally and externally
