We are currently looking for a Hybrid Power Supply Engineer to work for a Major Automotive Organisation based in Warwickshire Reference No: J0010535 Job Title: Hybrid Power Supply Engineer Experience: Experience of Mathworks/Simulink environment Location: Warwickshire Rate: From £26.00 to £28.24 per hour Co. Hours: 40 Hours Per Week The Role: *Power Supply Systems is an area within the Powertrain Electrification Group that designs all areas of power generation, storage, management and off-board charging for company vehicles. *We have responsibility for all levels of vehicles, from conventional cars, through micro-hybrid, mild hybrid, plug-in and full electric vehicles. *The Power Systems Application Engineer is responsible for taking and agreeing requirements, along with the relevant test cases and validating the system design, culminating in full system sign-off. Skills Required: 3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED 1) Must have experience of interacting with other system owners to ensure all interfaces are correct and be capable of testing functionality from subsystem up to full-vehicle level 2) Experience of Mathworks/Simulink environment 3) Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, data and conclusions within the team and to stakeholders Experience Required: Degree in Engineering, Software or related discipline Experience Preferred: *Knowledge of automotive product development *Have a problem-solving mindset for root cause analysis of issues Additional Information: *40 Hours per week with 3:30pm finish on Fridays *Recruitment Consultant Grant Baker *Tel: *********** Our clients are unable to provide sponsorship for Tier 2 visas; therefore, only candidates eligible to work in the UK need apply!
