The company help Small and Medium businesses optimise their online presence and meet potential new clients - They describe themselves as an 'out of the box' marketing team for businesses that don't have one. Their services include: Web Design & Development, Managed Pay Per Click, Social Media Marketing and Organic Search/SEO. They have heavily invested in marketing apprentices over the last couple of years and are now looking for an IT Support Apprentice to add to the growing IT Department. The technical department is 12 strong and looking to grow. It consists of web and application developers, designers & technical engineers and they are now looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join the growing team. We are looking for an IT Support Apprentice to support external and internal customers. We're not looking for the finished product, we're looking for someone who wants to learn and seize this opportunity. Full training and support will be given. Duties/ Responsibilities You will be: - First line telephone support for our website customers - Taking details of client's problem/requirement - Asking relevant questions to get additional detail - Offering technical assistance if and when appropriate - Logging enquiry details onto call logging system - Shadowing technicians - Making small changes to WordPress and Magento sites via the CMS - Installing tracking codes for internal teams - Chasing customers for details/logins to enable the team to fulfil projects - Utilising inactive periods to further your studies Desired Qualities - Keen interest in all things technical and digital - Enthusiastic - A great telephone manner - Always looking to learn from our experienced team - Strong work ethic - A can-do attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to meet client expectations - Good communications skills Desired qualification 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other information Working week - Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm (1-hour lunch) Benefits - The company are listed among New Media's Top 30 Digital Agencies - Awarded "One to Watch" accreditation by the Sunday Times Best Companies - Achieved Investors in People Silver status We offer sociable working hours, a healthcare scheme, contributory pension, car parking, childcare voucher scheme, cycle to work scheme, on site bar, weekly yoga classes plus subsidised social events, and other regular incentives and rewards.
