1st & 2nd line Support Technician Help Desk / 2nd line support Milton Keynes £15 - £17 per hour 3-month contract Immediate start for Desktop Support Technician to join a small team within a busy fast paced environment for an initial 2-month contract To provide 1st line helpdesk and 2nd line desktop support to around 200 users. This includes installation, upgrades and maintenance and to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. Provide support for the IT desktop environment including PCs, laptops, telephones and peripherals, including building and configuring equipment for new starters, to ensure a stable and secure desktop platform. Monitor and respond to service requests via Richmond Service Desk system. User administration in Active Directory. Creating and maintaining users in the MS Exchange email system. Carry out technical tasks as requests as directed including assisting in administration and maintenance of the backups. Support office desk moves ensuring all computer equipment is moved safely and with minimal down time to users. You will need to be available immediately and live within easy commuting distance of Milton Keynes. Good technical experience in 1st Line call triage and Windows 2nd line desk side and networking support is essential
