- As a Senior Women's Rights Campaigner at ActionAid UK you can do just that as part of a team committed to campaigning for the rights of women and girls living in poverty. You will share our passion for working alongside the communities of women and girls that we work with in Africa, Asia and Latin America so that, together we can change lives for good. The remit of Senior Women's Rights Campaign Specialist is to lead and drive the development of our campaign strategy on Women's Rights, with a particular emphasis on digital channels. This will include deepening our relationship with existing supporters, as well as reaching out to new ones. You will be involved in translating complex information and change objectives into succinct and clear messages as well as designing approaches that will engage change makers. Important will be the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external coalitions to build alliances and further objectives. We will also look to you to improve the range and depth of women's rights knowledge and skills within the team as well as keep in touch with policy and political debates in the campaign area. You must have delivered successful campaigns with a demonstrable knowledge of change theory, power analysis, critical paths and audience insight. You will have a track record in identifying and delivering reactive campaign opportunities as well as developing high impact multichannel media strategies. You will have a strong understanding of the issues surrounding women's rights as well as violence against women and girls too. Good at writing impactful copy, you will also possess excellent communication, investigation and research skills.
