Finance Analyst (CASS)
Your new role
As Finance Analyst with CASS experience, you will required to provide financial support in the day-to-day maintenance of corporate accounts and client money records.
Your primary role is to assist in the preparation of dealing cashbook reconciliations for the client's transfer agency. This will also include the administration of Client Money records and preparation of internal client money reconciliations. You will also be responsible for the monitoring and oversight of our outsourced transfer agents. In addition you will assist in analysing data and preparing any financial reports.
Your secondary task will be to assist in the Finance team in the preparation of accurate monthly sponsor statements and deal with all matters relating to sponsor statement calculations. You will provide analysis , including accruals, rates and receipts and report monthly. You will collaborate with the Finance team to support various accounting projects and activities; such as the creation and implementation of procedures and cost-saving measures, and answer customer queries and issues in timely and accurate manner.
What you'll need to succeed
A relevant finance industry or accounting qualification (e.g. IOC, AAT) or university degree/diploma is highly desirable
At least 6 months experience in a finance or operations role in the financial services industry
Good knowledge of CASS regulations is required
Previous experience with client money or client money reconciliation would be highly regarded
Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
