Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 30/09/2018Hours: 35 per week, working Monday to FridayTier: 3Are you looking for unique opportunity to be involved in building and shaping the future of Your Housing Group with regard to systems, processes and new ways of workings?
Your Housing Group are undertaking a major digital transformation programme and is implementing a range of new technologies including an ERP to replace the existing standalone HR, Payroll, Finance and P2P legacy systems. The new integrated ERP system, Unit4 Business World, is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive experience and expertise in systems and UAT testing to ensure the implementation of the new solution is to the highest possible standard and test functions to confirm they meet the specification of requirements and satisfy user needs. Key accountabilities will include liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure outputs are fit for purpose. As the new system is Software-as-a-Service(SaaS), some of the traditional system testing elements are reduced, so the focus for this role will concentrate more on defining and leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), although there will be ongoing liaison with the supplier to review their testing of the cloud environment prior to go live. This is very much a hands-on role to define and manage the testing lifecycle. You will have a proven track record of delivering testing requirements on time and to specification together with strong testing skills and experience in multi-systems implementations in complex environments. Experience of functional and User Acceptance testing via the creation and execution of test scripts is essential. You will have the ability to create clear, concise and readable manual test scenarios and scripts. Experience of managing non-compliances and defects is required together with the ability to work closely alongside others as part of a dynamic delivery team and being able to demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence.
In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.
