The Position Due to continued growth, our client, an established finance organisation with several offices worldwide, has a rare opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Manager to join their London office on a permanent basis. This person will be a key member of the wider Human Resources function which provides the full range of HR services to the firm's employees across all jurisdictions. The role requires a commercially focused payroll and benefits specialist to take ownership of the outsourced payrolls. The person in this role will ideally have knowledge and experience of some European tax regimes and will fully manage the payrolls for the firm. This person will be the senior HR contact for payroll and benefits queries with direct line management responsibility for the Payroll Administrator. Payroll - Payroll checking for all locations which includes Europe and Asia. Carrying out the detailed line checking for each payroll. - Liaising with the finance team regarding funding of payrolls and reporting responsibilities - Responsible for audits, tax and legislative reporting for all relevant jurisdictions. - Managing payroll vendor relationships across the Group Compensation - Coordination of the annual salary review process for the group - Share tracking for employees Benefits - Coordination of benefits across all of the firm's global jurisdictions - Manage the broker and provider relationships across the group - Act as advisor and key contact for employees with benefit related queries - Oversee the payroll administrator regarding enrolment of employees onto benefit plans Your Profile The client is ideally looking for an experienced payroll manager who has had some experience of handling payrolls in different jurisdictions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital for this role as you will have constant liaison with staff. The client is open on the sector that you may have worked in previously. More important is your ability to work well to tight deadlines, while overseeing a payroll administrator from a line management perspective.
