Job Title: Manager - Capital Management Reporting Location: London Salary: £56,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and benefits incl. car allowance Our client, a major retail bank is looking for a Manager to join their Retail & Consumer Credit Risk team at their Head Office based in London. As a Manager you will: - Support the Senior Manager in setting and maintaining the direction and standards for capital management across the Retail and Consumer Finance divisions - Review and challenge the capital management assumptions in business planning, forecasting and stress testing, ensuring that risks around the expected capital requirement are clearly understood and communicated - Produce and develop effective management information and reporting to senior stakeholders to fully explain capital usage, efficiency and returns, ensuring that the latest available information is captured and reflected on a timely and accurate basis - Ensure that capital risk parameters and metrics used in decision making (e.g. product pricing for customers) are appropriate, consistent and fit for purpose - Lead the analytical processes to identify, evaluate and implement portfolio and capital optimisation and risk mitigation opportunities - Be a proactive member of the wider Analytics & Oversight team, helping to develop and deliver cross-team initiatives to drive higher colleague development, capability and engagement. The Manager will have: - At least 3 years` experience in an analytical role within financial services. - Knowledge and experience of reporting regulatory capital - Experience in the development of retail (Secured or Unsecured) capital rating models would be useful - A good understanding of CRD IV / CRR and Basel requirements and the underlying capital frameworks - A strong focus on results and delivering business impact - Strong analytical and presentation skills (written and verbal) technical skills including SAS and SQL - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
