We are currently looking for a Quality Investigation Engineer to work for a Major Automotive Organisation based in Warwickshire Reference No: J0011437 Job Title: Quality Investigation Engineer Experience: At least 3 years in this field. Location: Warwickshire Rate: From £23.00 to £25.04 per Hour Ltd Co. Hours: 40 Hours Per Week The Role: *Current model quality investigation engineer Skills Required: 3 KEY SKILLS 1)Management of suppliers - timing commitments, investigation Quality tools - either 6Sigma, 8D or other proven methods. 2)Project management. 3)Candidate must be strong on creating realistic timing plans and managing projects to completion on time. Experience Required: *Experience of automotive or aerospace quality investigations and quality improvement. *At least 3 years in this field. *Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes - injection moulding, steel stamping, laser welding, Just in Time assembly (Each of this is an advantage but not essential, they can be taught). *Strong knowledge of materials and tooling is also preferred. *3-10 years' experience needs to be degree qualified in an engineering discipline. *10+ years' experience in quality investigation specifically is OK without degree. *Candidates must be strong in the problem definition stage of a quality investigation with the ability to analyse data in a number of different ways using different display methods (hazard plots etc) *Experience with reporting out, creation of power points and timing charts is essential. Experience Preferred: *Potential candidates must be pragmatic and goal driven. *Energy is needed in this role and the ability to be flexible with workload. *There are a number of longer term projects to manage whilst short term high priority projects come in and need a more reactive approach.
