Position : Junior Media Developer Location : Derby IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU HAVE A DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE DESIREABLE TO HAVE PTLLS, CertED OR EXPERRIENCE OF TEACHING/TRAINING Role Our client is looking for a candidate to design and development high quality and engaging blended learning programmes to be delivered via a Moodle based Virtual Learning Environment. You will report to the Head of Service Delivery and E-Learning. The right candidate must have experience in HTML5, Flash Camtasia, CamStudio, Adobe Captivate and it is also desirable to the role to have experience with film Video - Adobe premiere Pro or Final Cut, Motion graphics and animation Duties / Essential - Demonstrate experience of creating high quality, engaging learning content, - Creating content and resource for use on multiple devices, creating audio and visual screen casts - Experience of working with subject specialists from a broad range of subject areas to write and develop content - Experience of creating content and resource for use on multiple devices - Experience of creating audio and video screen casts - Experience of using and developing Moodle - Creating SCORM packages - Develop high quality, interactive blended learning programmes to be delivered via a Moodle based VLE - Utilise appropriate development methodology and incorporate best practice techniques from RAD and JAD - Work with subject matter experts to create media maps, storyboards and scripts - Review and edit existing material to set standards - Create interactive SCORM compliant packages - Provide support and guidance on virtual class software - Deliver against KPI's set by Head of Service and Elearning development - Review own performance aiming to meet or exceed targets - Meet deadlines - Acts as a team player with a can-do attitude. - Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes as appropriate. - Maintain a quality service by following organisation standards. - Maintain product knowledge by working closely with all departments; reviewing publications etc. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed - Undertake such other duties as may from time to time be required to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Company Due to high volume of applicants, should you not hear from us, please assume you have been unsuccessful.
