We are now recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased to work for our prestigious client who is a large manufacturing business in Nottinghamshire. POSITION: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased INDUSTRY: Manufacturing/Production/FMCG HOURS: 4 on 4 off LOCATION: Commutable from Retford, Worksop, Mansfield, Newark, Grantham, Lincolnshire SALARY: £15.00 p/h - £16.00 p/h Suitable candidates will ideally have excellent electrical maintenance with some mechanical experience who are able to work as a team and on their own. Experience of planned preventative maintenance, working within a manufacturing environment, and particularly heavy machinery such as furnaces, presses, conveyors, crushers etc. Person requirements: - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer- Electrically Biased - Excellent fault finding skills - Ability to interpret electrical wiring/schematic drawings - Knowledge of inverter drives, PLC's, 3 phase motors/pumps, pneumatic systems - PLC Allen Bradley Experience diagnosis, fault finding, part programming - 17th Edition qualified - Good basic mechanical skills Key Duties: - Carry out reactive maintenance in a busy production facility as well as following a structured PPM system. - Ensure documentation and reporting is completed accurately and on time. - Using initiative to work alone or as part of a team. - Problem solving while looking to constantly improve in place systems.
