Temporary 6 Month Contract My Client is a successful manufacturing organisation based in Bathgate. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk to support them on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months with the view of extension. There is also a chance that this role may lead to a permanent contract for the right person due to continued company growth. Based within a small but busy team, you will be responsible for the following duties: - Process purchase ledger invoices (approx. 600 per month) - Process sales ledger invoices (approx.. 200 per month) - Sort, code and match invoices - Reconciling statements - Producing remittances - Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve invoice queries - Provide weekly and monthly purchase ledger reports - Invoice scanning and filing To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills: - Previous experience of dealing with purchase &/or sales ledger invoices - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Good level of IT skills including working with a ERP system - Candidates must be able to work in a small team, able to use your initiative to complete tasks
