Developer Excellent opportunity for a contract Developer to join a well-established brokerage company in London. The successful Developer will have 3+ years' experience in MIFID/EMIR, SQL, C#, IIS, Visual Studio and .Net Core, working on multiple work streams engaged in development of solutions within a commodity brokerage company. The Developer key skills: - Good experience reviewing business requirements and technical specifications relating to MIFID II and other projects as necessary - Evaluating systems, processes and data against the requirements and specifications - Proven development life cycle - Proven experience of integrating rapidly with an existing environment and team - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. - Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft development stack (C#, Visual Studio, .NET Core, IIS). - Ruby or transferable experience with similar Scripting languages such as Python. - Knowledge and experience in test driven development. - Agile methodology, project planning and tracking using JIRA. - Prior experience in the development of MIFID II solutions, particularly Trade Reporting, Transaction Reporting but also other work streams. - Strong product knowledge encompassing Exchange Traded Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange. - Market/industry knowledge encompassing the trade life cycle from execution, clearing and settlement. - Experience with the process flows, data structures & outputs from Front Office execution platforms (Fidessa/TT/CQG etc), Exchange drop copies, Ateo Lisa and the FIS/Sungard GMI Back Office system. - FIX integration experience would be beneficial. - Strong analytical and communication skills, as the role will require direct interaction with business stakeholders.
