IT Support Engineer - Redhill Inital 3 Month contract Temp to Perm Job Summary To be an effective IT Support Engineer of the IT Services department team in helping to provide a high quality customer focused IT support service. This role will provide a mixture of customer facing support work and back office administration. Travel between sites will be required and having access to own transport (with business travel insurance) is essential as you will need to carry equipment. Core result areas/Duties/Responsibilities - To provide high quality and responsive customer facing IT support - Resolve routine IT equipment issues and deliver Change Requests as assigned - Commission and decommission computer assets using predefined procedures; g. printers, pc's, memory sticks, office moves, etc - Perform backups as required, resolving issues using existing procedures and escalating unresolved issues to secondary support - Process Network Account changes for Starters, Leavers and Movers - Demonstrate approved IT fixes/workarounds to End Users - Provide IT administration support as required for the smooth functioning of the IT department; e.g. maintenance of the various IT registers (e.g. asset register, backup register, etc), stock level register, raising requisitions, IT web page, etc - Provide support to IT projects as required This role of IT Support Engineer is for a public sector client where an IR35 Asessment has been undertaken and this role has been deemed inside of the IR35 legislation.
