Functional Skills Tutor Location: Hertfordshire We are currently representing one of the most successful Colleges in the United Kingdom. Supporting their amazing growth we are now looking for experienced Functional Skills Tutors. Based in Hertfordshire , you will be working to support apprentices at an Engineering and Construction campus to complete their Functional Skills qualifications. You will receive an attractive salary between £25,000-38,000 and you will receive an attractive holiday allowance and pension scheme. As an Functional Skills Tutor you will be supporting learners through a set successful programme. You will delivering Functional Skills from Entry level to Level 2 in Math's, English and ICT Your learner group will be aged 16+ and the class size will range from 10-15 including learners of varying abilities. We are looking for talented Trainers who are passionate about helping learners achieve success. As an Functional Skills Tutor your main duties and responsibilities will include: - Carrying out initial learner assessments - Preparing lesson plans and conducting weekly reviews with the learners - Engage and deliver a set Programme to learners aged 16+ - Using your creativity and personality to achieve maximum pass rates - Mark and assess learner results, provide support and feedback to learners Skills and Experience Required - Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTTLS - Previous experience working as a Functional Skills Tutor - Proven track record in achieving maximum results through effective learner delivery - Experience supporting learners aged 16+ with positive outcomes - Excellent all round IT Skills This position is subject to a satisfactory DBC Check Position is available straight away For more information please contact Pertemps Newcastle Keywords: Functional Skills Tutor, Functional Skills Trainer Maths, English, ICT Employability Tutor, Employability Trainer, Functional Skills
