My client based in Cardiff, are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Line Desktop Engineer to assist with a team shortage and also someone who is happy to jump on the Service Desk when needed to clear the backlogs. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic engineer with a proven track record of IT Support in an enterprise environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Support UK-wide user base from the Help Desk
Strong second line / Desktop support experience
Taking calls and troubleshooting IT issues and problems
Escalating calls through the relevant 3rd Line channels when necessary
Telephony and remote access support
New user provisioning and fulfilment
IT equipment replacements

Technical Knowledge & Experience

*Experience of working on a busy Service Desk
*Windows 7 & Windows 10
*Microsoft Office Suite (2010/2016) - Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc…
*Remote desktop application support
