Role description We're seeking a Communications Manager to join the UK Audit Delivery Centre (ADC) team within the Audit Transformation Programme team. The Audit Transformation Programme team is responsible for implementing a complex programme of change to successfully deliver our service line strategy. Responsibilities - On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include: - Expand and maintain existing communications plan by working with the UK ADC team members and the business representatives to establish and align requirements - Translate core message content provided by ADC team into effective communications in a variety of formats (e.g. email, intranet, webinars) - Proactively and independently plan and manage execution of communications initiatives such as intranet update, development & distribution of learning & awareness materials - Collaborate with the Audit and Assurance communications team to ensure alignment on communication and engagement channels, branding and appropriate timing of any communications - Measure the effectiveness of communications delivered with a focus on continuous improvement - Build strong relationships within the UK Audit Transformation team as well as key business stakeholders such as business unit Audit Transformation Directors and comms leads to ensure communications plan meets requirements and is effective - Regularly report progress, risks and issues to the UK ADC Programme Manager - Requirements - Broad Communications experience from a large, complex organisation, demonstrating proactive planning, design and delivery of communication & engagement strategies, plans and content. - Excellent overall communicator, verbal and written; can credibly adopt a broad range of communication styles to engage diverse stakeholders; sensitive to specific audiences in tone as well as content. - Understands business and the strategic role of employee engagement, and can align internal communications strategies and initiatives with regional and firm-wide business objectives. - Comfortable with concepts, complexity and ambiguity; able to think independently and make sound, reasoned judgements and solve problems. - Can understand different perspectives, and is able to work comfortably and effectively in a diverse, multi-cultural and international environment, with an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. - Excellent core Microsoft Office skills are essential (especially PowerPoint). - Strong stakeholder management, influencing and team playing skills. - Formal change and communications qualifications are an advantage.
