Our client is relocating to Leeds and as a result they are actively seeking to appoint an experienced credit controller to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a stand-alone credit control position, reporting to the Finance Director. You will have a strong track record within credit control with the ability to build rapport and recover outstanding debt effectively. Key responsibilities include: - Chasing debt by telephone and email - Handling a corporate UK based sales ledger - Investigating reasons for non-payment - Account reconciliation - Working on Sage Line 50 and the CRM system - Liaising with the account managers and customer care team to resolve outstanding queries - Liaising with senior management within the team in respect to outcomes and progress - Providing customers with detailed information relating to their account, this may include the provision of Excel spreadsheets highlighting credits and debits - Reviewing average debt and debtor days - Cash allocation.
