Multiple opportunities across various technical mechanical disciplines Either contract or permanent £50-55k + benefits or £350p/d Northamptonshire Joining this global leading technology developer within the Motorsport environment you will draw upon your mechanical design capability to drive improvements in the most sophisticated of powertrain technologies. The automotive engineering department are looking for accomplished engineers capable of delivering solutions of the highest quality, on fast paced and highly technical projects. Opportunities exist for individuals supporting base engine, powertrain or energy recovery systems across multiple engine platforms and therefore power unit experience is ideal, but other areas of complex mechanical assemblies would be applicable. The role demands a high degree of contact with other disciplines within the department, simulation, electronics and other engineering functions. You will also have to work closely with the procurement team, build and test operations to deliver complex system solutions efficiently and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that the components or systems on which you are working function to requirements at the point of delivery. Candidate Degree educated (minimum 2:1) in a related engineering discipline you will have exposure in time constrained, challenging environments. Using your exceptional mechanical engineering knowledge in the design of systems for the F1, Motorsport, Automotive or Aerospace industries preferably you will be strong within Catia but other CAD packages can be considered. You must understand complex mechanical systems and assemblies including actuations, powertrain, drivetrain, turbo, energy recovery, transmission or hybrid systems.
