We are working with a large, friendly Primary school in the Sandwell area to recruit a Year 4 Primary Teacher for a full time role. They are looking for someone to start after October half term and this contract is initially on a temporary basis, but has the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.

Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this school is set at the heart of the Rowley Regis community. It is a large Primary school which also has a Nursery attached and is going through expanding pupil numbers. There are a number of children with SEN who attend this school and are supported by 1:1 LSP’s.

To apply to this role you will need the following

This primary teacher position requires:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Recent teaching experience in KS2
  • Good references for the past 2 years, at least one of which must be a teaching reference
  • A good, solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • A positive, can-do attitude

Responsibilities

As a Year 4 primary teacher you will have good classroom management and utilise your general class LSP effectively. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of exciting and engaging lessons, meeting the National Curriculum.

This particular class requires a practitioner with excellent behaviour management as they can be challenging at times. You will have a positive approach and follow the school behaviour policy to ensure consistency.
