Business Analyst - Web - eCommerce Software Berkshire Career Progression

Leading software house for the Retail & Private Sector space is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst. Your primary responsibility will be to act as liaison between the Customers, business and the development team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technology driven company based in Berkshire.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the gathering and analysis of requirements to ensure customers receive the solution most appropriate to their needs. You will be responsible for translating high-level epics into detailed stories for the technical teams to implement and validate against.

Requirements:
Liaising with Project Managers to agree and maintain timescales for analysis within the project plans
Documenting and gaining agreement on project scope
Eliciting, validating and agreeing requirements from diverse stakeholder groups
Ensuring that the requirements are complete, accurate and articulated to the satisfaction of all stakeholders to enable the solution to be technically defined and tested.
Assisting in the generation of benefits case and management of benefits delivery through the life of projects
Producing documentation in accordance with standards
Facilitating, arbitrating and documenting decisions through full project life cycle
Maintaining awareness of IT and industry trends and benchmarks
Effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle

Experience required:
Business analysis experience in many significant technology-focused projects
Strong influencing skills with demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders across IT and the business at varying levels of seniority
Understand both agile/SCRUM and waterfall environments
Practical experience of documenting/mapping business processes
Excellent attention to detail and experience of documenting requirements in a structured format
Ability to rapidly and thoroughly understand the environment in which they will operate (people, applications, technology, process)
IT development experience within a professional IT function, including experience of the full development lifecycle, including project inception and post-live support
Good liaison / relationship building both within the business and with clients
Ability to challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner and manage conflict resolution to gain consensus on requirements
Flexible, fast learner, able to adapt quickly and seamlessly to working within a virtual team
Take ownership of the role whilst demonstrating a genuine can-do attitude
