SEN Teacher required for September, Chichester, West Sussex, competitive pay

Hays Education are working in partnership with schools in Chichester, West Sussex and are looking for experienced SEN Teachers who can work with pupils with a variety of learning difficulties. Alongside the pupils, there are also pupils with additional needs such as Autism and Asperger's.
The schools aim to provide their pupils with the best possible education and believes that each pupil should have the chance to develop and learn within an environment where they are supported with their educational needs and are challenged to achieve.
Your new role
you will be working closely with the leadership team to support pupils with PMLD and impairment level of the pupils will vary.
It is therefore extremely important that you are able to develop a genuine rapport with them and an understanding of their individual needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that pupil's feel supported and encouraged, along with delivering the curriculum with learning goals at the forefront of everything you do.
You will direct the Teaching Assistant, who will work closely with you to enhance learning.
What you'll need to succeed
To qualify for this position you will need:
Qualified teacher status and first hand understanding and experience of working with children with learning difficulties in a similar environment.
Good behavioural management skills and ability to effectively guide pupil behaviours.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which is important to build rapport with pupils, staff members and parents.
Ability to monitor pupil development and offer suggestions and feedback.
