Business continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager Summary of Purpose of Role: Responsibility for the management of all process and activities required to deliver Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans within our prestigious, International Client. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure and coordinate implementation of business continuity, disaster recovery and risk mitigation policies and procedures. - Facilitate the completion of departmental BIAs, (Business Impact Analysis) verifying data and validating information. - Facilitate development/updates to business continuity plans. - Assist in the completion of BCP reports provided to management. - Facilitate the documentation of procedures and workarounds for loss of each dependency. - Assist in pretest, testing and post-testing meetings. - Document results of live events, exercises, tests and drills/develop After Action Reports and Lessons Learned. - Lead the BCP team to achieve the goals described for regions EMEA, Americas, Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Essential: - 5 years of business continuity planning/testing/analysis experience required. - In depth understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery policies, processes and protocols and able to create end to end systems of prevention and recovery to deal with potential threats across our Businesses. - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related and equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
