Payroll Implementation Consultant - Cheltenham - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum-Hays Accountancy & Finance

Hays Accountancy and Finance are being retained by a leading and successful Global Payroll services organisation, that provide services to a range of UK and International clients. A business that is focused on delivering high customer experience/service within a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. Based in their Cheltenham office, the client is seeking an experienced and driven Payroll Implementation Consultant on a permanent basis, to deliver international implementation and payrolls working closely with the payroll project teams and technical staff. This is a great opportunity in a permanent payroll implementation role where you really develop further and add value as the business grows.

Your Role:

You will join an experienced team of payroll professionals to set-up and deliver new client payrolls reporting directly into the Global Implementation Manager. Your key duties will include defining and set-up of the agreed client payroll processes, establishing all of the payroll and data needs. You will work with internal project teams and local country payroll partners to organise meetings, create project plans and deliver implementation packs. You will be expected to work with the finance team to agree client payments and banking processes along with co-ordinating the payroll implementation process in regards to time schedules and delivery. Along with this you will configure all reports and systems changes in parallel to the payroll processes, working closely with the clients to register, approve and sign-off the payroll projects, along with specific needs and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

For this exciting opportunity as an Payroll Implementation Consultant you must be able to demonstrate strong data coordination skills, have strong communication skills, with the ability to manage time critical tasks and to assign responsibilities to third party organisations. Experience of using or managing payroll processes and their associated systems is essential along with being highly motivated and driven. It is important that you have worked with international clients of all sizes and can work towards time-constraint deadlines. Experience working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment would be advantageous.
