Reporting to the Director of IT Strategy and Portfolio Management, the Portfolio Analyst will analyze and track data relating to the global project portfolio health and predictability and risk mitigation. Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Portfolio reporting Analyst is to provide proactive global Portfolio Analysis and Reporting and risk mitigation for the entire IT Portfolio ($140m+ in volume). The Portfolio Reporting Analyst alsoprovides data analysis and mitigation actions related to the IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial review processes.

Other responsibilities include:

Analyzing and tracking data to report the ongoing health and predictability of the IT portfolio, benefit analysis, financial management and risk mitigation.Identifying key trends and recommending mitigating actions to improve efficiency and the health of the IT Portfolio. Tracking, analyzing and publishing IT Portfolio Key Performance Indicators. Providing support to the IT Strategy & Portfolio Management team for Resource / Capacity demand, analysis and management processes.Analyzing, monitoring, measuring and reporting all IT project and portfolio metrics, particularly in relation to the portfolio health, financial management and predictability.Recommending mitigation for the management of and reduction of portfolio riskProviding decision makers with Business & Management reporting / KPIs to monitor demand based on strategic objectives, risks, dependencies and potential constraints in the supply of ITSupporting the IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial review processes. Contribute to the management of the IT financial LRP, budget, forecast, and financial review.Partnering with IT management team to provide actionable data and analytics to support the improvement of IT’s operational efficiency and maintain the health of the IT PortfolioSupporting and maintain standard project, portfolio & resource planning processes and tools.Measuring and reporting the IT portfolio alignment to the business and IT strategies.Requirements:

Experience with successfully delivering portfolio analysis and reporting.Experience of resource management and reporting tools and processes.Advanced experience of reporting and communication tools. (including excellent MS Excel, MI and BI experience / competency, eg. Power BI, Hyperion)Experience planning and reporting large operating and capital & expense budgets as well as financial controls & reporting.Excellent analytical skills coupled with the ability to formulate, identify and mitigate areas of risk from the data being processed.

Excellent communication skills. Can communicate clearly and precisely at all levels globally.

Advanced experience of project, program & portfolio management, methodology & best practice

Demonstrates high ethics and values. Inspires loyalty, trust and respect among colleagues.

Understand the structure and high level functions of the IT organization and how it interacts with business partners.
