We're recruiting for a SharePoint Developer looking to move into a product management position. You will have good technical and practical knowledge but also have a keen desire to learn and try new things, and crucially enjoy interacting with business stakeholders. Our client is working with SharePoint Online and it's important you have strong knowledge of how it differs from other versions. Key responsibilities: - Stakeholder management - Backlog prioritisation - Requirements gathering - High level solution design - Supplier management - Issue diagnosis Key Competencies: - Great people skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical things to non-technical users - Enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment - Embrace change - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Candidate Profile Key Experience / Skills: - Experience using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, web parts, lists, libraries and content types - SharePoint development of web-based applications such as intranet features - Up to date experience of developing in SharePoint Online as opposed to server versions including knowledge of the Microsoft Graph APIs - Good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of SharePoint Online for different business needs such as document management or extranets - Experience working with agile principles and methodologies e.g. lean and Kanban - Reasonable understanding of SharePoint Online admin and governance, environment, access, reporting etc. Preferred Experience / Skills: - Experience of forms and workflow add-on tools such as Nintex - Experience working with the wider O365 offering and Azure - Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript or jQuery - Working in a DevOps function - End user training and documentation
