This fantastic academy is set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, and is viewed as an outstanding centre for learning. The teaching at the school is aimed to inspire, motivate and challenge pupil's learning, creating a fantastic learning environment.

Your new role
You will be a Qualified Teacher of Drama that has had experience of teaching their specialism from KS3 though to KS5. You will be required to start as soon as possible, five days a week and this post will be full time for one term. Planning and marking is expected in this role and you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach across all key stages. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds.

What you'll need to succeed
you will be a qualified teacher (with QTS), and have experience of teaching Drama/Performing Arts in a secondary setting. In addition to working well with students, you will also need to be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff. You will need a passion for teaching Drama and willingness to promote learning. Another important and key factor is that extremely strong behavioural and classroom management skills.
