3 x Finance Business Partner Opportunities have become available within a fast paced and growing manufacturing business following a team restructure and recent acquisition. This role will see you joining a UK head office which contains both the shared services function and the manufacturing plant. The business is going through a vital time as they are winning large contract bids and renewing key client tenders, setting up a bright future for all involved. These roles will support the growth of the business and to ensure the integrity ad efficiency is sustain while thinks get busier.
Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for representing finance across the business. You role will see you run the end to end process of ensuring the company are performing to its highest standards by analysing the financial figures to identify key area's that can be improved.
This will begin with the preparation and production of the management accounts. This will involve everything from posting the journals, accruals and prepayments to completing the Actual vs Budget variance analyse. This will lead to you to producing a monthly board pack which will contain both the financial and management reporting along with the commentary around the variances identify.
Following the close of month end, you will then use this information and business partner with the senior management team. This will see you partner with departments such as Operations, Marketing and Sales and will rely heavily on the relationships you build with you colleagues. You will work with them to ensure they are perform in line with the budgets are targets they are given and they are working towards achieving the maximum performance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to build long lasting relationships with the key budget holder. You will also have previous experience in completing a full set of management accounts as you will have full ownership of this process. You ideally be an ACCA, ACA or CIMA part or fully qualified accountant with a strong knowledge of excel and SAP. An ideal candidate will also have experience of IAS 18 or IFRS 18.
