An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and highly motivated teacher of English to join a popular, flourishing and highly-supportive Boarding School in Wymondham, Norfolk. Starting November 2017; the successful Teacher will be joining one the school's most successful Departments

The School is a STATE boarding school with 50/50 day pupils and boarders (we are not in the independent sector). We work a 5 and a half day week with lessons up to 1200hrs on Saturdays, but we normally have a 35 week academic year. Teaching staff must be prepared to work Saturdays but there are longer holidays.

The timetable requires the post-holder to potentially work Monday to Friday 0830 - 1545hrs and Saturday 0830 - 1200hrs during term time. Teachers work 2 weekends out of three (Exeat) during term-time.
Teacher

The successful Teacher will be a holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning Skills Status (QTLS). You will be a Teacher with a clear passion for your subject area and a hard-working, dedicated and ambitious nature

Key responsibilities of the job include:
* Planning & teaching English from KS3 - KS4
* Liaising with the staff team to develop programmers of learning.
* Assessing and reviewing student development.
* Utilizing modern technology in the classroom (e.g. SMARTBoard, MS Office package)
