Senior PV Training Specialist

The Position You will support the implementation of a training and capability development strategy for both PDS and stakeholders that are involved in PV activities. Responsible for the development of the training programs, you will identify needs, execute the training, deploy materials and evaluate effectiveness. Providing guidance to PDS and business partners, you will manage the delivery of training solutions to meet the customer needs in line with defined training strategy. Accountable for designing and actioning best-in-class programs, you will identify requirements based on sound science, process knowledge, regulatory guidance and related controlled documents, as part of the Quality Management System. As the main point of contact for the PDS training infrastructure, you will provide a consistent framework for the development of training materials and lead improvement initiatives within PDS and across the scope of PV activities. Ensuring functional partners expectations are met, you will work with a network of subject matter experts (SMEs) and maintain a robust induction and orientation program for new starters. Reviewing training plans and role based curriculum for global applicability, you will lead the delivery of the PV Capability Development Train-The Trainer solutions and independently manage third party contractors/vendors and internal stakeholders. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related subject, you will have good working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in development and in a GxP regulated area. You will have a broad understanding of the global expectations of Health Authorities and will have previously developed training programs and systems. Your considerable organizational awareness will be complimented by experience of working in cross-functional global teams; ideally working with a variety of authoring and online learning development tools. Your understanding of corporate learning and curriculum delivery systems will be supported by a solid knowledge of Global PV regulations, ICH and GVP guidelines and PV processes and tools. A credible and confident communicator, you can demonstrate strong decision-making ability, effective teamwork skills, innovative thinking capability and strategic tactic formulation to help achieve results.
