BillSaveUK Ltd is a Leicester based business formed in October 2015 through a Management Buyout of certain assets from The Mark Group. We are a leading player in the insulation & energy efficiency space, working with both large national builders and, through our retro fit division, the major utility companies. We also have a growing presence in the scaffolding market. The business has received significant external investment and has a strategy to aggressively grow in all its markets; becoming the contractor of choice for our customers and expanding our portfolio of services. We operate nationally from a network of eight sites. The senior management team has extensive experience in growing businesses along with an in-depth knowledge of the building and insulation sector. We are looking to recruit a motivated, hard-working individual who wants to become an integral part of an innovative company.

Responsibilities of the role are as follows:

We continue to invest in leading edge technology across the business to enhance customer service and efficiency across the network. Reporting directly to, and working closely with the CFO, the Finance Manager will be able to embrace this to streamline our financial processes and, equally importantly, work with colleagues across the business on commercial projects.

Manage and develop directly a team of two. Working closely with the AR Manager and a further team of four. Production of monthly management accounts and working with the CFO on board reports. Developing a process of branch level reporting and relationships with our Service Delivery Managers.

Improve knowledge and understanding of financial information available across the business and bring measured financial accountability to operational decision making. Ensure integrity of the balance sheet, proactively identifying and managing risk.

Constantly work with colleagues across the business, particularly IT & MI, to improve processes, efficiency and profitability. Working with CFO in budgeting, forecasting and managing cash flow.

Manage the annual external audit process and liaise with external accountants on the production of statutory accounts. Manage the interface with our funding partners, including monthly reporting & reconciliation.

Reporting to external parties e.g. VAT, PAYE/NI and managing correspondence. Deputising for the CFO as required

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience

Qualified Accountant.

Confident, approachable, resilient & outward looking.

Technically strong, ideally with some experience in a multi-site business.

Systems literate, likely to be the ERP lead within the finance team.

Able to inspire a team, but experience in this area not essential.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, working between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, You will be required to have a flexible approach to the hours you work in order to meet our business requirements and as such your normal working days may be varied from time to time. In addition to these hours, you are required to work those hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of your position to the satisfaction of the Company subject to the provisions of the Working Time Regulations 1998. with 1-hour unpaid break daily. Flexibility in working hours will be required.
