Your new school
I am currently working with a highly ambitious primary school in Croydon who are looking for a Headteacher's PA. The school has recently opened but has already been recognised for outstanding achievement in a recent Ofsted report. The school prides itself on exemplary class behaviour combined with modern teaching techniques.
Your new job
In your new role as the Headteacher's PA you will be the first point of contact for the Headteacher, dealing with all third parties and taking all calls relating to the Headteacher. Your other duties will include undertaking school SIMS administration and secretarial work of the Headteacher including word-processing, document publication and faxing etc. including dealing with the Headteacher's emails and using initiative to respond to all questions and emails where possible. Previous School based SIMS administration experience is essential for this role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have first class organisational and secretarial skills, and an ability to remain calm under pressure and when working to tight deadlines. Your excellent command of written and spoken English, with attention to detail in all written correspondence will ensure that you can communicate effectively with all stakeholders. With your previous experience you will possess strong school based SIMS experience which is a key requirement, ICT skills and be confident in using the all software within the Microsoft Office package.
