Title- Communication Manager Contract role My Higher Education client down in Milton Keynes Is looking for a Communication Manager to join them on their Transformation Programme. The role will be to advise on and personally deliver professional, timely and trusted communications which motivate, inspire, inform and engage staff. Further the role will include developing and delivering an overarching staff facing communications strategy and communications plan to meet objectives determined by Transformation Programme office. Experiences and knowledge required * A passion for the Higher Education sector and a keen interest in innovation and digital ways of working * Extensive experience of internal and external communications management, particularly from large, complex organisation * Experience of Intranet and Internet content, editing and management is essential * Experience using social media as part of an integrated communications plan * Experience of setting up and managing the delivery of cross-organisational, multi-audience communication projects. - * engaging with multiple stakeholders - * acting in an advisory capacity to senior management - * delivering impactful campaigns across a wide mix of media - * Influencing and relationship building - * Track record of delivering to agreed timescales * Confidence with digital and audio-visual tools and channels and a desire to be an early adopter of new entrants (e.g. digital content management, videography with simple handheld devices, email management tools such as MailerLite, social media).
