Category Manager - 7 months - £402.53 PAYE/ £503 UMB - Home Based. (With significant travel expected to the college's main sites in London, Harrogate, Coventry and Durham) *INSIDE IR35* *Security Clearance: CTC* Description: Working within a commercial team to deliver programme objectives; supporting colleagues to achieve targets in relevant timescales; developing successful working relationships with external suppliers. Contributing to procurement and contract strategies; Compiling and issuing tenders; Administering contract amendments; Providing commercial advice and guidance to the wider business; Ensuring all procurement activities are within budget; Ensuring all activity undertaken is in line with government regulations and best practice. Additional Qualifications: *Qualified CIPS *Provide professional procurement advice to support a number of strategic college projects. *Improve procurement engagement with the wider business. *Documentation of key policies/processes across procurement process. Experience Required: *Experience of working in a procurement environment in the public sector. *Experience of detailing and changing procurement processes. *Experience of procurement support in a project environment. *Experience of working in a police force environment. * Experience of working in a procurement environment in Central Government.
