Baltic Training are excited to be working with Mission Labs to recruit for a Software Tester Apprentice to join their team based in Rossendale.

Mission Labs are a telephone communications company that support businesses to streamline several mobile numbers into one. Mission Labs are a relatively new business who are aiming to build the future of communication.

They are now looking for an individual who has a keen eye for detail to join their team in their new modern office.

About Apprenticeships

Duties
You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Software testing.
  • App testing.
  • Identifying and logging faults.
  • Identifying areas for improvement.
  • Answering incoming calls.

Training to be provided:

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software Development
  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Passion for Software Development.
  • Understanding of Software Testing.
  • Methodical mind-set.
  • Good telephone manner.

The future is bright
Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits

  • £170 per week.
  • Full time (37.5 hours per week).
  • Regular wage reviews.

Location and travel
Their office is based in the Rossendale area and can be accessed on bus routes from areas such as Burnley and Bury.
