About the Company:My client has been formed today is a result of two families working together for over 35 years. Since then my client has grown at a rapid pace to develop an operation that spans property investment, development, management, finance and construction. My client is proud to have launched several new divisions over the past few years, which have assisted in the expansion of its portfolio. This makes my client more dynamic and better positioned to move faster with investors, architects, contractors and supply chain. My client currently employs 50 plus staff all of which has a unique job role that helps contribute to the overall success of the company.
About the Role:
My client have instructed me to find an experienced site based Quantity Surveyor with strong high spec residential experience, both with new build and large conversion/refurbishment projects. My client are currently completing a variety of high-spec residential new build and conversion projects throughout North London will look to base any successful candidate on site as close to home as possible.·Sub-contract tendering and procurement to meet required deadlines·Provide a detailed prelims cost budget and share with Site Manager at the appropriate time.·Payment of subcontractors, variation orders and settlement of final accounts.·Monitoring and explaining cost movements.·Monitor and explain subcontractor cost movements.·Responsible for subcontractor payments, variation orders and day works and settlement of final accounts.·Undertake monthly cost reports and estimate future likely cost expenditure.·Report on savings and excesses against budget costs to the Director.·Forecast final accounts.·Monitor, reconcile and recharge any costs, which relate to shared cost items with either other businesses within the Group or external Companies.Candidate Requirements: ·Ideally at least 7 years of post-graduation Quantity Surveying experience·Must have Super Prime Specification based experience (Residential Conversion project ideal)·Must have very strong job loyalty and demonstrate longevity in previous roles·Ideally must hold a degree in a relevant construction related fieldAbout the Benefits and Reward: ·Basic salary of up to £75,000·Car allowance or company car·Bonuses·Full company benefits
