Badenoch and Clark are currently recruiting for a 6 monthPortfolio Analyst position for a Global Investment Bank based in the London. This role will be sitting in the European real estate portfolio management team and the ideal candidate will have 2 or more yearsprevious Research or Portfolio Management experience from a real Estate background. The role; - Analysing investment opportunities through market research, in depth financial analysis, and complex financial modelling - Drafting reports, memoranda, and presentations for transaction review and investment committee meetings - Supporting transactions including investment underwriting, due diligence processes, structuring, financing, and closing - Supporting ongoing portfolio management activities including oversight of regulatory requirements and investor reporting - Assisting on asset management tasks for the UK and elsewhere in Europe, including creating and implementing business plans, refinancing, hold/sell analyses, and quarterly reporting - Actively support sales processes ensuring asset and corporate structures are ready for sale - Managing external Property Managers to ensure collection of rental income and compliance by tenants with lease covenants including quarterly meetings to review their performance To be considered for this Real Estate Portfolio Analyst position you must have; - At least 2 years experience from a portfolio management/analyst or Research position from a Real Estate background. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands - Exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail - the candidate will be required to communicate effectively and confidently with senior management and third parties - Strong computer skills (primarily Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and experience in conducting in-depth financial analysis and developing complex financial models - Ability to work in teams, under pressure, within tight deadlines, and with multiple projects simultaneously - Enthusiasm and ability to critically apply new knowledge to a variety of situations and scenarios - Approximately 2 years relevant experience - European languages preferred but not required
